NAF Unveils DSSC 34/2025 Successful Candidates, Sets April 18 For Training Kick-off

In a significant step towards strengthening Nigeria’s air power and leadership pipeline, the Nigerian Air Force has released the list of successful candidates for its Direct Short Service Commission (DSSC) Course 34/2025.

The announcement follows the conclusion of a rigorous Selection Board Interview held at the NAF Base Kaduna between 12 January and 8 February 2026.

According to the Air Force, the names of successful candidates have been published on its official recruitment portal, providing applicants with clear guidance on the next steps.

Successful candidates are expected to report for a six-month Basic Cadet Training programme at the Nigerian Defence Academy, Afaka, Kaduna, beginning on Saturday, 18 April 2026.

The training is a critical phase that will determine their eventual commissioning as officers.

The Air Force emphasised that all candidates must arrive with their original credentials for documentation and admission.

It warned that failure to report by 6:00 pm on Monday, 20 April 2026, would result in automatic forfeiture of the offer.

The Service further clarified that only candidates who successfully complete the training and are duly commissioned will attain full status as personnel of the Nigerian Air Force.
