Greenbull RFC Storm To South East Glory With Ruthless 12-0 Triumph
In a region where rugby is steadily carving out its identity, Greenbull RFC have sent a powerful message, dominance is built on discipline, structure, and belief.
Greenbull RFC delivered a commanding performance to defeat Isukwuato RFC 12-0, clinching the South East Rugby Tournament title emphatically.
The final, played in Abuja, showcased a side in complete control, blending aggressive line speed with quick ruck play to suffocate their opponents.
The tournament organised by the Southeast Rugby Football Association in partnership with the Martina Martins Seed Foundation and Msportslink, featured five teams, Greenbull RFC, Isukwuato RFC, Oteji RFC, AJ-Green RFC, and Coal City RFC, highlighting the growing depth of rugby talent in the region.
Greenbull’s superiority in the final was evident, as they forced Isukwuato into risky, low-percentage attacking plays.
Two well-executed tries and a successful conversion sealed a deserved victory, leaving no doubt about their championship credentials.
Isukwuato RFC settled for second place, while Oteji RFC claimed bronze. AJ-Green RFC and Coal City RFC finished fourth and fifth respectively.
