Soludo Reshuffles Team, Appoints Key Officials To Drive Governance In Anambra
In a move that signals renewed momentum in governance and policy execution, Anambra State Governor, Chukwuma Charles Soludo, has approved the appointment of key officials and special advisers across critical sectors of the state administration.
The appointments, announced on Monday, are aimed at strengthening the machinery of government and enhancing service delivery across strategic areas including health, innovation, security and administration.
Among the notable appointments is Barrister (Mrs) Ngozi Iwouno as Head of Service, while Barrister Joachin Peters Anetoh takes on the role of Principal Secretary to the Governor.
Dr Ben Nwankwo has been named Chief of Staff, with Professor Frank-Collins Okafor appointed as State Chief of Protocol.
In the legal sector, Barrister Tobechukwu Nweke, SAN, assumes office as Attorney-General of the state, while Mr Christian Aburime continues as Chief Press Secretary to the Governor.
Other appointments include Dr Vincent Egbuna Okechi as Deputy Chief of Staff and Ms Ngozi Lucy Okoye as Deputy State Chief of Protocol.
Governor Soludo also named special advisers to drive targeted interventions in key sectors. Dr Godwin Nnadozie will oversee medicals and pharmaceuticals, while Ms Chinwe Okoli has been appointed Special Adviser on Innovation and Business Incubation, alongside her role as CEO of the Solution Innovation District.
Professor (Engr) Ebuka Nwankwo will handle special projects and project monitoring, while Mr Ken Emeakayi takes charge as Special Adviser on Community Security.
The appointments reflect the administration’s focus on consolidating reforms, deepening innovation and improving security across the state.
