Military Declares ‘Gentle The Yahoo’ Wanted, Offers N30m Reward
As security forces intensify operations against violence and criminality in the South-East, the Nigerian military has placed a N30 million bounty on information leading to the arrest of Ifeanyi Eze Okorienta, popularly known as “Gentle The Yahoo.”
The Joint Task Force South East, Operation UDO KA, declared Okorienta wanted in a notice urging members of the public to provide credible information that could lead to his capture.
The notice described him as a threat to peace in the region and said a “reward of 30,000,000” awaits anyone whose information leads to his arrest.
The task force urged residents to support ongoing security efforts under the campaign message: “Give Peace a Chance.”
Members of the public can provide information anonymously through 193 or 0806 795 9570.
The military advised anyone who spots the wanted man not to confront him, but to immediately alert the security authorities through the designated channels.
The declaration comes amid intensified military operations in the South-East aimed at disrupting violent and criminal networks.
