CAF Opens Global Tender Opportunities Ahead Of 2027 AFCON

CAF is opening the door for businesses worldwide to play a role in Africa’s biggest football event as a tournament of this scale is not only a football spectacle; but a major commercial opportunity.

The commercial stakes around the 2027 Africa Cup of Nations are rising, hence the Confederation of African Football (CAF) inviting innovative companies from Africa and beyond to bid for a range of supply and service contracts ahead of the tournament.

The TotalEnergies CAF AFCON PAMOJA 2027 will be jointly hosted by Kenya, Tanzania and Uganda from 19 June to 17 July 2027, marking the first time the continental finals will be staged across three countries.

CAF said the tournament will bring together 24 of Africa’s top national teams and offer businesses a major platform to showcase their capabilities while contributing to the delivery of the month-long football spectacle.

The commercial opportunity is underpinned by the tournament’s growing global reach.

The 2025 AFCON in Morocco recorded more than 3.2 billion television audience views and six billion digital views, with 285 million digital engagements.

CAF also reported a 95 per cent increase in commercial revenues from the 2025 edition, supported by a record 23 sponsorship partners.

With Kenya, Tanzania and Uganda preparing to host the 2027 finals, CAF said suppliers with the capacity to deliver innovative products and services should take advantage of the tender opportunities now available.
