Nigeria Congratulates India On Republic Day

The Federal government of Nigeria, through the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Yusuf Tuggar, has extended heartfelt congratulations to India as the country marks its Republic Day.
In a message addressed to India’s Minister of External Affairs, Dr. Subrahmanyam Jaishankar, Ambassador Tuggar emphasised the enduring ties between Nigeria and India, citing decades of diplomatic relations and fruitful collaboration in global affairs.
He highlighted shared values such as cultural diversity, multi-ethnicity, and vibrant democracies, reaffirming Nigeria’s commitment to strengthening bilateral cooperation for the political and economic prosperity of both nations.
“Nigeria appreciates the excellent relations between our two countries and remains dedicated to building on this solid foundation for the benefit of our people,” the statement read.
Nigeria wished the government and people of India peace, progress, and prosperity, while pledging continued friendship and support.
