NAF Air Strikes Decimate Terrorist Enclave In Borno
The Nigerian Air Force (NAF) has intensified its offensive against insurgents in the North East, neutralising scores of terrorists and destroying a major enclave in Borno State.
The Air Component of Operation Hadin Kai launched the precision air strikes on Wednesday morning, following credible intelligence and surveillance reports of unusual movements at Bula Madibale in the Gezuwa general area.
Reconnaissance revealed about 45 terrorists assembling, with some arriving on motorcycles and bicycles.
Two insurgent flags were also spotted at the site, confirming its use as a stronghold and rallying point.
The NAF strikes, carried out around 10:50 am, obliterated the flagged structure and other hostile assets, leaving several terrorists neutralised.
Air Commodore Ehimen Ejodame, Director of Public Relations and Information at NAF Headquarters, said the operation demonstrates the Force’s resolve to deny terrorists freedom to regroup or launch attacks, while reassuring Nigerians of the Armed Forces’ commitment to restoring peace and stability in the region.
