The National Communication Team, led by the Minister of Information and National Orientation, Mohammed Idris, has carried out a mid-term performance review, reaffirming its commitment to effective public engagement and strategic messaging.
Speaking at the meeting in Abuja, Idris praised the growing synergy among key government communication players, including presidential media aides and heads of public information agencies.
He noted that this unity has improved the coherence, reach, and impact of messaging around the Tinubu Administration’s policies.
Highlighting the importance of collaboration, Idris said the team’s efforts are increasingly evidence-based and responsive to public concerns, helping to build trust and raise awareness of the Renewed Hope Agenda’s benefits in areas such as health, education, infrastructure, and the economy.
The team resolved to amplify communication around rural development, agriculture, security, and infrastructure sectors showing visible improvement.
It also plans to expand town hall meetings nationwide to strengthen citizen engagement and promote transparency.
The meeting brought together top media and communication figures across government, all united in their pledge to speak with one voice and sustain a credible, inclusive national narrative.
