Operation KO S’AYE Delivers Early Blow To Kidnappers, Rescues Five Victims
Barely 48 hours after the launch of Operation KO S’AYE, the Lagos and Ogun State Police Commands have recorded a major breakthrough, signalling an intensified crackdown on kidnapping and violent crime across the two states.
Police operatives combing the forest boundary between Lagos and Ogun States along the J3/J4 axis of Ogbere in Ogun State rescued five kidnapped victims during a coordinated operation.
The team also neutralised four suspected kidnappers, arrested four other kidnapping suspects and 84 additional suspects linked to various criminal offences.
The operation led to the recovery of arms, ammunition and other incriminating exhibits.
The Nigeria Police Force said the success underscores its commitment to intelligence-led operations and sustained security efforts aimed at ensuring there is no hiding place for criminals, particularly kidnappers.
With the operation gathering momentum, the police declared that forests once used as safe havens by criminal gangs will no longer provide refuge, reinforcing the campaign’s message: “Ko S’AYE fun iwa odaran” No place for criminality.
