APC National Chairman Mourns Senator Basiru’s Mother, Praises His Devotion
The death of a parent often reveals the enduring values that shape a family, and the All Progressives Congress (APC) says the late mother of its National Secretary, Senator Ajibola Basiru, leaves behind a legacy of faith, sacrifice and integrity.
In a condolence message, APC National Chairman, Professor Nentawe Goshwe Yilwatda, expressed deep sorrow over the passing of Senator Basiru’s mother, who died peacefully at a ripe age.
Speaking on behalf of the party’s National Working Committee, leaders, members and supporters, Yilwatda extended condolences to Senator Basiru, his family and the people of Osun State, describing the deceased as a matriarch whose life inspired all who knew her.
The APC chairman also commended Senator Basiru for his unwavering care and commitment to his mother throughout her lifetime, particularly during her illness, despite the demands of his public office and party responsibilities.
He prayed for Almighty Allah to grant the late matriarch Al-Jannah Firdaus and give the bereaved family the strength to bear the loss, urging them to find comfort in the enduring legacy of humility, discipline and service she left behind.
