APC Fixes Screening Date For National Convention Aspirants In Abuja
As political momentum builds ahead of party conventions, the screening stage often becomes the first real test of credibility, structure, and readiness for leadership.
The All Progressives Congress (APC) has announced Tuesday, 24 March 2026, as the date for the screening of aspirants vying for national offices at its forthcoming convention.
According to a notice issued by the Aspirants’ Screening Committee, all contenders who have purchased and submitted their Expression of Interest and Nomination Forms are expected to appear in person for the exercise at the Transcorp Hilton, Abuja, by 9:00 a.m.
The committee emphasised that aspirants must come along with all relevant supporting documents for verification, underscoring the importance of due process and transparency in the build-up to the convention.
Signed by the Committee Secretary, Isa Yuguda, the notice also provided contact lines for further enquiries, signalling the party’s readiness to ensure a smooth and organised screening process.
The development marks a critical step in the APC’s preparations for its 2026 National Convention, where key leadership positions within the ruling party are expected to be contested.
