CLO Hails Soludo’s Security Drive, Police Vehicle Donation and Infrastructure Push In Anambra
In a state where security and mobility increasingly shape public confidence, measured leadership and follow-through have become the true benchmarks of governance.
The Civil Liberties Organisation (CLO), Anambra State Branch, has commended Governor Chukwuma Charles Soludo for what it described as exemplary performance in security management, traffic control and infrastructure development across the state.
The commendation was contained in a statement issued in Awka on Friday by the CLO Chairman, Evangelist Comrade Vincent Ezekwueme, AMBP-UN.
Ezekwueme particularly applauded the governor’s recent donation of 30 operational vehicles to the Nigeria Police Force, noting that the gesture has boosted morale among officers and strengthened crime prevention, public safety and economic activities in Anambra.
He also praised the conduct of state-backed security outfits, Agunechemba and Udo Ga Achi, citing their professionalism, discipline and civility.
Recounting a personal experience at Abatete, the CLO chairman said officers displayed “unprecedented respect, compassion and patriotism” while managing traffic and assisting road users.
The rights group further welcomed the commencement of work on the long-abandoned Ugwuakwu-Ibughubu-Achalla-Umuchu-Umunze road, a project Governor Soludo pledged during the burial of the late Pa Sylvester Ezekwueme.
The assurance, reiterated by Aguata Local Government Chairman, Dr Chibueze Oforbike, was said to have been met with widespread approval.
According to the statement, the transformation of Ekwulobia into a growing megacity, highlighted by the iconic Ekwulobia Flyover, stands as visible proof of the administration’s commitment to urban renewal and infrastructure delivery.
The CLO reaffirmed its support for the Soludo administration and urged sustained collaboration to consolidate peace, security and development in Anambra State.
It also commended the governorship candidates of various political parties for refraining from post-election litigation, allowing governance to take precedence over political disputes.
