Tinubu Assures Anambra APC Supporters: “You Will Never Walk Alone”

In a rare show of solidarity and political resurgence, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has sent a resounding message of hope to members of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Anambra State, declaring that they will “never walk alone.”

Addressing a massive crowd of enthusiastic supporters estimated at over one million at the All Saints Anglican Cathedral Field, Onitsha, the President, represented by Senate President Godswill Akpabio, said the turnout signified the people’s readiness to join the nation’s political mainstream.

“The rain is a blessing,” Akpabio, fondly called Omeluora Nnewi, told the cheering crowd. “You will go out, vote, and be victorious. From today, you will no longer walk alone.”

Tinubu reaffirmed the APC’s commitment to reintegrating the South-East into the national fold, recalling the unfulfilled post-civil war promises of Reconciliation, Reconstruction, and Rehabilitation.

He said it was time for the region to enjoy its fair share of federal projects, including roads and bridges.

“There is no adopted son in Anambra APC,” Akpabio stressed, presenting Prince Nicholas Ukachukwu as the party’s authentic governorship candidate. “An adopted son is not a biological son. Ukachukwu is our son, and we stand with him.”

APC National Chairman, Prof. Nentawe Yilwatda, charged Anambra voters to end APGA’s long rule, promising to restore peace, revive schools, and boost business growth.

“With just days to the election, we are ready to sweep away bad governance,” he said.

In his response, Ukachukwu thanked supporters for their resilience despite the heavy rain, urging them to vote decisively for progress.

“When you vote the APC, we will fix the broken Anambra,” he declared. “The fowl is dead, the umbrella is torn, and our broom will sweep them all away.”

The rally ended in chants of unity and renewed confidence as APC faithful vowed to make November 8 a turning point in Anambra’s political story.
