Tinubu 2027: Aiyedatiwa To Receive Tompolo As PBAT Movement Takes Campaign To Ondo
Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa is expected to receive Niger Delta figure High Chief Government Oweizidei Thomas Ekpemupolo, popularly known as Tompolo, as the PBAT Door-to-Door Movement inaugurates its Ondo State structure on Tuesday, October 20.
The event, scheduled for noon at Democracy Park, Akure, will feature the distribution of campaign vehicles and materials as the movement expands its grassroots mobilisation ahead of the 2027 presidential election.
The Southwest Coordinator of the movement, Orisamoluwa Adekunle, announced the programme in a statement, calling on All Progressives Congress (APC) members, party stakeholders and supporters of President Bola Tinubu to attend.
Adekunle said the Ondo inauguration would strengthen the movement’s presence across the state, with campaign vehicles providing logistical support for community-level engagement.
He said the movement planned to reach eligible voters directly, promote participation in the electoral process and communicate the Tinubu administration’s achievements and plans.
According to him, the inauguration would also bring party leaders and grassroots organisers together to discuss strategies for expanding the movement’s reach across local government areas and wards.
The expected reception of Tompolo by Aiyedatiwa forms part of the programme, which the movement says reflects cooperation among stakeholders backing Tinubu’s re-election bid.
Adekunle urged supporters to attend the Akure event, adding that the group would continue its door-to-door mobilisation as preparations for the 2027 presidential election gather pace.
