Popular Nollywood actress and filmmaker, Ruth Kadiri Ezerika, has opened up about her choice to keep her marriage away from the public eye, describing it as one of the best decisions she’s ever made.
Speaking during an appearance on the Dear Ife series with media personality Ifedayo Agoro, the mother of two explained that maintaining privacy in her relationship has helped her stay grounded and focused, both personally and professionally.
“For me, keeping my marriage private means fewer distractions,” she said. “It’s helped me nurture my relationship without external pressure or unsolicited opinions.”
The Edo-born actress added that her husband is able to live freely, away from the scrutiny and expectations that often come with being in the public spotlight.
Clarifying widespread assumptions, Kadiri said she’s not hiding her husband. “People around me know him. I just don’t put him out there for the world to judge or pick apart.”
