From Grief To Grace: Dr. Chetachi Nwoga Ecton Launches Medical Outreach In Honour Of Late Mother
In a moving gesture of love and service, the Founder and CEO of Women in Need (WIN) and the Elimh Foundation, High Chief Dr. Chetachi Nwoga Ecton, has transformed personal loss into a beacon of hope by launching a free medical outreach in memory of her late mother, Ezinne Priscilla Chinyere Nwoga.
The outreach, set to hold on Saturday, 5th July, at Garki Primary School, will focus on providing essential medical care to infants and children aged 0 to 12 years.
Speaking at a media briefing at the NUJ FCT Council Secretariat, an emotional Dr. Nwoga Ecton paid tribute to her mother’s legacy of compassion and service. “I speak not just as a founder today, but as a daughter in mourning,” she said. “Yet even in mourning, we unite in purpose. I have chosen to turn pain into purpose.”
The initiative has drawn wide support from partners including the Abuja Charity Marathon Ambassadors, International Women Power Conference, NOGALSS, JMA FCT Branch, Hickman Foundation, and more.
Grateful for the backing, Dr. Nwoga Ecton said, “Your support proves that service to humanity knows no tribe, religion, or class—only love.”
The event also drew the blessings and presence of royal fathers, including HRM Igwe Samuel Ikechukwu Asadu and HRH Usman Nga Kupi, Emir of Garki.
Their presence, according to Dr. Nwoga Ecton, reflects the values of unity, peace, and shared responsibility her mother upheld.
With faith, philanthropy, and a mother’s memory at its core, the Medical and Mission of Mercy Outreach promises to bring healing not just to young bodies, but to a grieving heart and a grateful community.
