In Madrid, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, European Union, and Cooperation of Spain, José Manuel Albares, and his Nigerian counterpart, Yusuf Maitama Tuggar, signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on political consultations.
This agreement establishes a structured mechanism for continuous dialogue, fostering collaboration in critical sectors such as economic development, security, education, energy, and climate action.
Nigeria, as a pivotal player in West Africa, holds a special place in Spain’s Africa Strategy 2025-2028.
