Yuletide Festivities: IGP Extends Greetings, Assures Nigerians of Safety

The Inspector-General of Police (IGP), Dr. Kayode Egbetokun, has assured Nigerians of heightened security across the country during the festive season.
In a heartfelt message, the IGP extended warm wishes to citizens celebrating Christmas and the New Year, urging them to embrace love, peace, and unity.
He said the Nigeria Police Force (NPF) has implemented comprehensive safety measures, including increased patrols in festive hotspots and enhanced vigilance nationwide.
The IGP called on Nigerians to remain cautious while enjoying the celebrations, emphasising the importance of prioritising safety.
“As we share in the spirit of giving this season, let’s also embrace the values of love and harmony,” the IGP stated, promising that police operatives will remain on high alert to ensure peaceful festivities.
The NPF remains committed to creating a safe environment for all citizens during this joyful time.
