Chief Of Defence Staff Calls For Positive Change In Security Narratives As Armed Forces Celebrate Christmas

The Chief of Defence Staff, General Christopher Musa, has extended warm Christmas greetings to members of the Armed Forces of Nigeria as Christians marks the birth of Jesus Christ.
In his message, General Musa emphasised the season’s essence of love, hope, and reflection, urging Christians in the Armed Forces to embrace the teachings of unity and forgiveness.
Reflecting on the year, General Musa acknowledged the sacrifices of troops who lost their lives in the line of duty while safeguarding the nation and called for 2025 to be a year of transformation in security operations, urging troops to redefine the security narratives across all theaters of operation.
Praising the resilience and courage of the armed forces, General Musa, reaffirmed the military’s commitment to aligning with President Bola Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda while upholding their loyalty to Nigeria’s constitution.
He also charged all security personnel to remain vigilant during the festive period and warned against any subversive activities.
