Troops Restore Normalcy In Kogi Communities After Bandits Attack

Reports say security operatives have restored peace in Kogi Communities after armed bandits invaded communities in Ogani Enigu, Dekina Local Government of Kogi State.

The report said bandits in their numbers invaded the communities in the early hours of Saturday, 1 April 2023, shooting continuously with AK 47 rifles.

A non- governmental organisation, YATAB Network, which is committed to anti-terror and banditry campaign in Africa reports that the communities were reportedly under serious attack by armed bandits as residents scampered for saftey before the security operatives arrived.

The identity of the attackers are yet to be ascertained.

Kogi State, like many other North-central states, has been under serious bandits attacks in recent times.
