Anambra East, West Stakeholders Rally Behind Obidigwe For 2027
The 2027 race for the Anambra East and West Federal Constituency is already drawing early political alignments, with stakeholders rallying behind the ambition of former lawmaker Hon. Chinedu Obidigwe, popularly known as Akaoma Jide Aku.
Stakeholders in Anambra East and West Federal Constituency have begun rallying support for Hon. Chinedu Obidigwe, declaring him their preferred candidate for the House of Representatives in the 2027 elections.
In a statement issued by Hon. Dr Mike Akwolu, the stakeholders said the constituency needs a representative who understands its challenges, remains accessible to the people and can provide effective representation at the National Assembly.
They described Obidigwe as committed to the welfare and development of the constituency, citing his accessibility and record of engagement with the people.
The stakeholders called on political leaders, traditional institutions, women, youths, professionals and business communities across Anambra East and West to unite behind Obidigwe’s aspiration.
They said his candidacy offers an opportunity to strengthen unity, empowerment and development while giving the constituency a stronger voice at the federal level.
The group adopted the slogan: “One Constituency. One Voice. One Vision. One Future.”
