Ayobami Eruobami Joins Nigeria’s PR Profession, Pledges Stronger Commitment To Ethical Communication
Public relations is no longer simply about managing reputation; it is increasingly about earning trust, shaping responsible narratives and using communication to create measurable social impact.
For Ayobami Eruobami, that responsibility has now taken a formal professional dimension.
The Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Erumedia Group and Erumedia Charity Trust has been inducted into the Nigerian Institute of Public Relations (NIPR), the statutory professional body for public relations practitioners in Nigeria.
The induction ceremony was held on 12 December 2025 at Bolingo Xperia Hotel, Abuja, where Eruobami received his certificate from the NIPR President and Chairman of Council, Dr Ike Neliaku.
The milestone formally places Eruobami within Nigeria’s professional PR community, while strengthening his credentials as a communications strategist and entrepreneur whose work spans public relations, media management, brand strategy and social impact.
“Being inducted into the NIPR is not just an honour, it is a responsibility,” Eruobami said.
He said his career had been guided by a belief in the ability of communication to “inform, unite, project and uplift”, adding that the induction had renewed his commitment to excellence, transparency and service.
Eruobami has built his professional profile through Erumedia Group, a PR and media relations firm that works across brand strategy, media management and personal branding.
Through Erumedia Charity Trust, he has also extended that work into community-focused initiatives, including media visibility for underserved individuals and businesses, digital marketing training, mentorship and capacity-building.
His growing profile was further recognised in 2025 when he was listed among Nigeria’s emerging leaders under 40 at the Nigeria 40 Under 40 Awards.
Erumedia Group was also shortlisted for the BusinessDay SME 100 Awards 2025.
Beyond Nigeria, Eruobami is a member of the ForbesBLK community, reflecting his interest in building a wider professional and entrepreneurial network.
For him, however, the NIPR induction is less about another title than what comes with professional recognition.
He said the recognition would motivate Erumedia Group and Erumedia Charity Trust to intensify their work in media training, brand development and inclusive community outreach.
That emphasis is significant at a time when the communications industry is grappling with misinformation, declining public trust and the growing influence of digital platforms.
For practitioners, professional standards and ethical communication are becoming increasingly important to how organisations, brands and public figures engage their audiences.
Eruobami’s induction therefore represents both a career milestone and a fresh professional responsibility, to apply communication not only to strengthen brands, but also to support businesses, mentor emerging professionals and contribute to wider social development.
