APC Sets 2026 Agenda As NWC Holds First Meeting Of The Year
With 2026 already shaping the political landscape ahead of future electoral battles, the National Working Committee (NWC) of the All Progressives Congress (APC) on Tuesday convened its first regular meeting of the year, signalling an early push to consolidate party strategy and internal cohesion.
The meeting, held at the Party’s National Secretariat in Abuja, was presided over by the APC National Chairman, Prof. Nentawe Goshwe Yilwatda, and brought together key members of the NWC to review party affairs and set priorities for the year.
Sources within the party described the meeting as strategic, focusing on strengthening internal structures, enhancing coordination across states, and positioning the ruling party to address emerging political and governance challenges in 2026.
The gathering underscores the APC leadership’s resolve to begin the year with deliberate planning and unity, as the party seeks to maintain its dominance while navigating a dynamic political environment.
