Hon. Uchenna Okonkwo Celebrates Archbishop Okeke, Omenugha Family At Priestly Ordination
The Federal lawmaker representing Idemili North and South, Hon. Uchenna Harris Okonkwo, joined Catholic faithful at the Basilica of the Most Holy Trinity, Onitsha, for the 2025 Priestly Ordination of the Catholic Archdiocese of Onitsha.
Hon. Okonkwo extended heartfelt congratulations to the Archbishop of Onitsha and Metropolitan of the Onitsha Ecclesiastical Province, His Grace, Most Rev. Valerian Maduka Okeke, for the successful ordination ceremony.
He also celebrated the twenty-two newly ordained priests, describing the milestone as a divine call to selfless service.
Among them was Rev. Damian Ifeanyichukwu Omenugha, son of the Vice-Chancellor of Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu University, Prof. Kate Omenugha, and her husband, Lord Dr. Michael Omenugha.
Hon. Okonkwo commended the Omenugha family for raising a worthy servant of God and prayed that the new priests be filled with grace, wisdom, and strength as they begin their journey in the Lord’s vineyard.
