Betara Secures APC Ticket Unopposed Ahead Of 2027 Polls

In a strong show of political confidence and grassroots support, the member representing Mukhtar Betara has emerged unopposed as the All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate for the Biu/Bayo/Kwaya Kusar/Shani Federal Constituency ahead of the 2027 general elections.
Betara, who currently represents the constituency in the House of Representatives, described the outcome of the party primary as a clear reflection of the trust and confidence reposed in him by the people.
Reacting after securing the APC return ticket, the lawmaker expressed gratitude to supporters across the constituency for what he called their overwhelming love and loyalty.
“The love and support shown by my people today were truly overwhelming and deeply heartfelt. With every passing day, our vision grows stronger, clearer, and more impactful,” he stated on his social media handle.
He assured constituents of his continued dedication to service, noting that the victory would further strengthen his resolve to pursue more developmental projects and people-oriented representation.
According to him, the endorsement by party members and supporters was historic and demonstrated a shared commitment towards sustained growth and progress in the constituency.
Betara also used the occasion to endorse President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for a second term in 2027, saying the administration deserved more time to consolidate on its policies and reforms for national development.
He appreciated party faithful and supporters for their steadfast loyalty, assuring them that their trust would continue to inspire his service to the people.
