Confluence Queens Press Reset Button As Survival Battle Intensifies
In a bid to arrest a worrying slide and reignite their NWFL campaign, confluence Queens FC has brought in far reaching changes.
Confluence Queens FC have announced a major shake-up of their technical department, signalling a decisive response to mounting pressure in the Nigeria Women Football League (NWFL).
The club has parted ways with Abu Manama and Abdul Muhammed following a review of recent performances. In their place, Ojekunle Folabi has been appointed as Technical Adviser, with Okon Nsikakabasi and Esther Michael joining the backroom staff as Assistant Coaches I and II respectively. Goalkeeper Trainer Azzez has retained his position.
With four matches already played and the relegation battle beginning to take shape, the newly assembled technical crew faces an immediate test: steady the ship, lift performances and haul the team clear of danger.
Club officials say the restructuring is aimed at injecting fresh ideas, renewed discipline and a sharper tactical edge into the squad as the season progresses.
All eyes will now be on how quickly the new-look technical team can translate change into results on the pitch.
