Adeboye To Lead Special Thanksgiving As Nigeria Marks 65th Independence Anniversary

As Nigeria celebrates 65 years of nationhood, the General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), Pastor Enoch Adeboye, is set to lead the nation in prayers of gratitude and hope.

The revered cleric will host a special independence thanksgiving service aimed at acknowledging God’s faithfulness over the decades and seeking divine guidance for the country’s future.

The service, expected to draw worshippers from across the country and beyond, will focus on unity, peace, and renewal of national purpose amid prevailing economic and social challenges.

According to organisers, the thanksgiving will also serve as a moment for reflection on Nigeria’s journey since independence in 1960, as well as a call for citizens to embrace righteousness, humility, and collective responsibility in rebuilding the nation.
