Tinubu’s CNG Drive: FRSC Receives Eco-Friendly Bus
The Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) has received a brand-new Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) powered bus from the Presidential CNG Initiative, in line with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s vision for cleaner, safer, and more efficient transportation.
Programme Director, Engr. Michael Oluwagbemi, handed over the vehicle to the Corps Marshal, Shehu Mohammed, at the FRSC National Headquarters on Thursday, 14 August 2025.
The move is part of the administration’s strategy to modernise Nigeria’s transport sector, cut carbon emissions, and promote sustainable mobility.
The CNG-powered bus is expected to boost FRSC’s operational capacity while positioning the Corps as a model for greener energy adoption on Nigerian roads
