NAWOJ Gombe Applauds Gender Equity Training, Hails National Leadership
The Gombe State chapter of the Nigeria Association of Women Journalists (NAWOJ) has expressed heartfelt appreciation following a recent training on Gender Equity, Safety, and Gender-Sensitive Reporting for its members.
Describing the session as enriching, engaging, and timely, NAWOJ Gombe said the knowledge gained will significantly enhance their advocacy for women’s rights and representation across the state.
The chapter singled out resource persons, Mrs Ifeyinwa and Mrs Vero, for praise, commending their depth, passion, and delivery.
They also lauded the National President, Hajiya Aisha Ibrahim Bura, for her visionary leadership and unwavering commitment to building the capacity of women journalists nationwide.
The commendation was jointly signed by Chairperson Bome Aaron Samutar and Secretary Abigail Kolo.
