My Politics Is About Serving The People – Hon. Betera
Chairman of the House of Representatives Committee on the FCT, Hon. Muktar Betera, has said that his political journey is driven purely by a desire to serve the people and give back to society.
Speaking when he received members of the Biu Forum in his Abuja office, Betera, who represents Biu/Bayo/Shani/Kwaya Kusar Federal Constituency of Borno State, said he remains committed to delivering the dividends of democracy to his constituents and Nigerians at large.
“I believe I was born to serve my people,” he said. “That’s my purpose in politics—to uplift lives and build a better future for all.”
Chairman of the Biu Forum, Malam Mustapha Muhammad, praised Betera’s inclusive leadership, youth empowerment initiatives, and grassroots projects. He said Betera’s efforts have made democracy more meaningful to the people.
Muhammad also commended Betera’s productive partnership with FCT Minister, Nyesom Wike, which he said has contributed to visible development in the nation’s capital.
The Forum offered prayers for Betera’s continued success, expressing hope that his leadership would reach even greater heights.
