Nigeria Police Academy Opens Admission For 12th Regular Degree Course
The Nigeria Police Academy, Wudil, Kano State, has officially announced the commencement of its online admission process for the 12th Regular Course Degree Programme.
The application portal will be open from 28th July to 8th September 2025, offering young Nigerians a golden opportunity to pursue academic excellence alongside professional police training.
Applicants must have scored at least 180 in the 2025 UTME, selected the Academy as their first choice, and possess six O’level credits (including English and Mathematics) obtained in not more than two sittings from 2021 onwards.
Other key requirements include
Nigerian origin by birth and possession of a valid NIN.
Age between 16 and 21 as of 31st October 2025.
Physical fitness: minimum height of 1.67m (males) and 1.64m (females); chest measurement of 86cm for males.
Applicants must be unmarried and not pregnant at the time of admission.
A non-refundable fee of ₦6,000, inclusive of a ₦2,000 Post-UTME fee, is payable via Remita. Applicants must apply through the official website: www.admission.polac.edu.ng and upload scanned copies of required documents.
The selection process includes a computer-based aptitude test, automated physical and medical screenings, and an interview exercise. Shortlisted candidates will be contacted via SMS and email.
Courses are available under the Faculties of Humanities, Science, and Social & Management Sciences—including disciplines like Criminology, Forensic Science, Psychology, and Political Science.
Successful candidates will undergo five years of combined academic and police training, leading to a Bachelor’s degree and commissioning as an Assistant Superintendent of Police II upon graduation.
