“Bring Clarity to Uncertainty” — CAS Charges Graduating Officers At NAF Intelligence Course
The Chief of the Air Staff (CAS), Air Marshal Hasan Bala Abubakar, has urged newly graduated officers of the Nigerian Air Force (NAF) to lead with foresight, clarity, and resilience as the country faces evolving security threats.
Speaking during the graduation ceremony of the Regimental Intelligence and Security Officers Course 4/2025 at the NAF School of Air Intelligence in Makurdi on Friday, 11 July, Air Marshal Abubakar described the officers’ achievement as a vital step in enhancing the force’s intelligence capability.
“In today’s complex threat environment, where non-state actors and criminal networks adapt rapidly, intelligence must lead the way.
You must bring clarity to uncertainty, foresight to decision-making, and resilience to our operations,” the CAS told the graduands.
The intensive course, which focused on intelligence gathering, analysis, dissemination, and counterintelligence, drew officers from various branches of the Air Force.
The goal, according to the CAS, is to strengthen integration and close intelligence gaps across air bases and operational theatres.
Air Marshal Abubakar commended the Commandant and staff of the School for their professionalism and dedication. He also extended appreciation to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for his steadfast support of the Nigerian Air Force.
He reiterated the Force’s commitment to staying ahead of emerging threats through continuous training, innovation, and strategic foresight.
The ceremony, seen as another key milestone in the NAF’s ongoing transformation agenda, reinforces the importance of intelligence-led operations in protecting Nigeria’s airspace and ensuring national security.
