Nigeria, China To Partner On Tech Advancement – Esuabana

In a strategic move to bolster Nigeria’s socio-economic development, the Federal Ministry of Innovation, Science and Technology has announced plans to collaborate with China in areas of equipment supply, manpower development, and technical support for schools, hospitals, and laboratories.
The Permanent Secretary of the Ministry, Mrs. Esuabana Nko Asanye, disclosed this during a courtesy visit by the Oore of Otun Ekiti and paramount ruler of Mobaland, His Royal Majesty Dr. Adekunle Adeagbo, at her office in Abuja.
Mrs. Esuabana emphasised that no nation can achieve meaningful progress without harnessing the full potential of science and technology.
She commended the royal father for facilitating Chinese interest in Nigeria, noting that while some nations downplay Nigeria’s capabilities, China is actively contributing to its growth, especially in tech-related sectors.
In his remarks, the Oore of Otun Ekiti highlighted Nigeria’s rich natural resources, stating that with proper management and international collaboration, the country could witness significant economic transformation.
