NES President Engages ECOWAS Commissioner On Regional Economic Synergies

To strengthen collaboration between economic institutions and regional bodies, the President of the Nigerian Economic Society (NES), Professor Adeola Adenikinju, paid a courtesy visit to the ECOWAS Commissioner for Internal Services, Professor Nazifi Abdullahi Darma, at the ECOWAS Commission headquarters in Abuja.
Accompanied by the Head of the NES Secretariat, Mr. Solomon Terkura Mathew, Professor Adenikinju engaged in strategic discussions with the Commissioner, who offered an insightful overview of his academic and professional journey.
Professor Darma also delivered a detailed presentation on the structure and operations of the ECOWAS Commission, highlighting the crucial role of the Department of Internal Services under his leadership.
The visit underscores a shared commitment to fostering regional integration and economic development through institutional synergy.
