As the Nigeria Police Force (NPF) continues to restructure for enhanced efficiency, the Inspector-General of Police, IGP Kayode Egbetokun, has appointed Assistant Inspector-General (AIG) Fom Pam Joseph as the new Force Secretary.

AIG Fom steps into the role following the elevation of his predecessor, AIG Adetutu Rhoda Olofu, to the rank of Deputy Inspector-General of Police (DIG). His appointment reflects the IGP’s commitment to leveraging experienced officers for strategic roles to strengthen police administration.

AIG Fom, a seasoned officer with a distinguished career, previously served as AIG, Department of Finance & Administration, Force Headquarters, Abuja.

He has also held key positions, including Commissioner of Police in charge of Homicide Investigations at the Force Criminal Investigation Department (FCID), Abuja.

His new role is crucial to the administrative operations of the NPF, ensuring smooth coordination across departments.

The appointment aligns with the IGP’s vision for a more effective and professional police force, emphasising utilisation of talent and operational excellence.

With this leadership shift, expectations are high for a more responsive and strategically positioned police force to tackle security challenges across Nigeria.
