ECOWAS, GIZ Strengthen Collaboration on Regional Projects
The Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS) and the German Agency for International Cooperation (GIZ) have reaffirmed their commitment to regional development.
A German delegation, led by Ms. Svenja Ossmann, met with the ECOWAS Director of External Relations, Mr. Jérôme Boa, at the ECOWAS Commission headquarters in Abuja.
The discussions centered on the progress of ongoing joint projects, key priorities, and potential areas for deeper collaboration and support.
Both institutions emphasised their shared vision of fostering sustainable development in West Africa, with GIZ reaffirming its commitment to supporting ECOWAS initiatives.
The meeting highlighted the importance of strategic partnerships in addressing regional challenges and advancing economic and social progress.
