FRSC Corps Marshal Shehu Mohammed Charges Staff On Productivity, Pledges Better Welfare

The Corps Marshal of the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC), Shehu Mohammed, has urged staff to sustain last year’s productivity momentum while committing to improved welfare, capacity development, and promotions.

He made this call during the 2025 Maiden Corps Marshal’s Parade at the FRSC National Headquarters, Abuja.

Reviewing the Corps’ performance in 2024, he praised officers for their dedication, particularly in managing traffic during the festive season.

He also condoled with the families of deceased officers and encouraged staff to prioritise their health through regular checkups and fitness exercises.

On discipline and excellence, the Corps Marshal emphasised that hard work would be rewarded while indolence would not be tolerated.

He also reaffirmed plans to enhance staff welfare, including affordable housing schemes, improved healthcare services, and a seamless promotion process.

As the FRSC marks its 37th anniversary on February 18, Mohammed commended the staff for upholding the Corps’ values and urged them to embrace digitisation and new technologies, including the FRSC Mobile App, to improve service delivery.

With upcoming amendments to the FRSC Establishment Act, he called on officers to prepare for greater responsibilities, assuring them that no staff would be denied their entitlements or recognition for outstanding performance.
