Police Arrests Two Suspects Linked To Mrs. Odumosu’s Kidnap

In a significant breakthrough, operatives of the Lagos State CP Special Squad have arrested two suspects connected to the kidnapping of Mrs. Odumosu, wife of retired Assistant Inspector-General of Police, AIG Hakeem Odumosu.
The suspects, Agbojule Smart (27) and Keleke Michael (30), were apprehended in the early hours of Friday, January 24, 2025, while attempting to flee Lagos State.
During the arrest, police recovered N2.25 million, believed to be part of the ransom, along with two locally fabricated rifles and 11 live cartridges.
The suspects confessed to being part of a four-member gang, with two accomplices previously neutralised by security forces.
The Inspector-General of Police, IGP Kayode Egbetokun, praised the operatives for their swift action and urged continued excellence in combating crime.
