IGP Egbetokun Decorates New DIG, Deploys CPs to Kogi, Edo States

The Inspector-General of Police, Kayode Egbetokun, has decorated the newly promoted Deputy Inspector-General of Police (DIG), Jonathan Towuru, during a ceremony at the Police Force Headquarters in Abuja.

DIG Towuru, known for his extensive experience and dedication, has been immediately posted to the Force Criminal Investigation Department (FCID) to bolster the unit’s effectiveness in tackling complex criminal investigations nationwide.

In a strategic move to strengthen security across the country, the IGP also deployed CP Miller Gajere Dantawaye and CP Betty Enekpen Otimenyin to Kogi and Edo States, respectively.

This reorganisation underscores the Force’s commitment to enhancing public safety and efficient policing.

The IGP expressed confidence in the ability of the newly posted senior officers to lead with integrity and deliver impactful results in their assignments, reaffirming the Force’s dedication to justice and community service.
