In his speech, the Chairman on the occassion, who is the governor of Zamfara State, Dauda Lawal, gave the newly weds tips for a successful marriage.
The governor, said secrets to a fulfilled marriage included communication and tolerance, while counting honesty and patience as virtues which would complement communication and tolerance to achieve success in marriage.
Lawal, who said, he has been married for over 25 years, so speaking from experience counselled the couple against allowing a third party to meddle in the affairs of their matrimonial home.
He cautioned them to, in the course of their marriage, settle whatever issues they may have between them, without anybody’s interference.
The Charge D’Affaires of the U.S. Embassy, Abuja, David Greene, who led other employees of the embassy to the wedding, expressed joy that Aisha, found love especially one who could complement her perfectly and fits her knack for perfection.
The former Chairman of EFCC, Ibrahim Magu, was amongst the dignitaries that attended the wedding reception among other politicians, traditional rulers and diplomats.
