The National Vice Chairman of APC in South East, Dr. Ijeomah Arodiogbu, has disclosed that Governor of Imo State, Hope Uzodimma, exemplifies true democracy in the state.
Arodiogbu who spoke on Democracy Day in Owerri on Monday, said it is glaring that the Governor maintains principles of democracy which he mentioned manifest in his laudable achievements in the 27 local government areas of the state.
He harped that Uzodimma believes in the goodness, prosperity and progress of the masses as democracy entails, saying the Governor has built solid roads, hospitals, houses for civil servants, regular payment of salaries to public workers, equipping the youth on productivity, creating employment for teaming unemployed graduates especially those who studied education, among others.
“Since Governor Hope Uzodimma assumed office he has been towing the path of truth, love and social justice as embedded in democracy as a proponent of true democracy in Nigeria. Democracy will be upheld in Imo State hence the need for the people to reelect the Governor in the November 11 2023 election”, Arodiogbu emphasized..
Disclosing that democracy which he affirmed to be the best aspect of government, the renowned medical doctor called on the people of Imo State to reelect the Governor to enable him consolidate viable democracy: rule of law, constitutionalism, social justice, peace and security.
