Nigeria raised the tempo in the second half, combining swift attacks with improved finishing to pull decisively away from Madagascar and seal a 45-27 victory.
The emphatic win further strengthens Nigeria’s campaign at the championship, with the team now advancing to the last eight.
Akibu Muhammed was named Man of the Match for his outstanding contribution to Nigeria’s impressive victory.
The quarter-final berth gives the young Nigerians another opportunity to push for continental honours in Abidjan.
