APC Support Groups Launch Drive To Secure 27 Million Votes For Tinubu
The race to shape public opinion ahead of future elections gathered momentum on Thursday as the All Support Groups Network (ASGN) launched a nationwide grassroots campaign targeting 27 million votes for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, while unveiling a visual record of the administration’s three-year achievements.
The campaign was unveiled at a joint press conference in Abuja by the ASGN and The Progressive Institute (TPI), where both organisations said the initiative would deepen public engagement with the President’s Renewed Hope Agenda and showcase the government’s record in office.
Speaking at the event, TPI Director-General said the Tinubu administration had recorded notable progress in infrastructure, economic reforms, social intervention programmes and national development over the past three years.
He said an illustrated achievements document and a forthcoming commemorative book were designed to preserve the administration’s milestones and educate Nigerians.
The institute also announced the launch of a strategic mobilisation campaign aimed at delivering 27 million votes through six partner organisations, including farmers, transporters, miners and cooperative groups with nationwide structures.
ASGN National Coordinator, Alhaji Murtala Bala Ibrahim, described the initiative as a new phase of grassroots political engagement, saying the coalition would leverage its extensive membership to promote the administration’s achievements across communities nationwide.
He added that the mobilisation target was based on the combined reach of the partner organisations and expressed confidence that the APC would continue to enjoy strong grassroots support.
The event featured the unveiling of the illustrated achievements document and the pre-launch of a book chronicling President Tinubu’s first three years in office.
