Troops Kill Two Terrorists, Seize Communication Equipment In Kebbi Offensive
Sustained military pressure against terrorist networks in Nigeria’s North-West has recorded another breakthrough, as troops of Operation FANSAN YAMMA neutralised two suspected terrorists during an operation in Kebbi State.
The operation, conducted in Mokurata, Danko/Wasagu Local Government Area, followed credible intelligence on the activities of terrorists in the area.
Security sources said the troops swiftly moved in and engaged the suspects, who attempted to flee after encountering superior firepower.
Two terrorists were neutralised, while a motorcycle and Baofeng handheld radio used for communication were recovered from the scene.
The military said the operation was part of ongoing efforts to dismantle terrorist networks, restrict their movement and restore security across the North-West.
