The two-day meeting, which began on April 15, 2026, brings together key executives and regional managers to assess operational inefficiencies, workforce concerns, and system vulnerabilities affecting power delivery across the country.

Declaring the session open, the Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer, Engr. (Dr.) Sule Ahmed Abdulaziz, emphasised the urgency of adopting practical and forward-looking solutions that will deliver both immediate impact and long-term stability in the transmission network.

The meeting chaired by the Executive Director, Transmission Service Provider, Engr. Dr. Oluwagbenga Ajiboye, also has in attendance the Executive Director, Human Resources & Corporate Services, the Executive Director, Finance & Accounts, Mr. Chukwuka Ochijie, as well as General Managers from TCN’s ten regional offices and the corporate headquarters.

Discussions are expected to focus on improving grid reliability, optimising workforce performance, and accelerating reforms critical to Nigeria’s power sector growth.

With mounting demand for stable electricity and increasing pressure on infrastructure, the outcomes of this meeting could prove pivotal in shaping the future of power transmission in Nigeria.
