That was the signal sent when the Inspector-General of Police, Olatunji Rilwan Disu, paid an operational visit to Kaiama in Kwara State following recent attacks by armed criminals.
The visit to the affected community was aimed at demonstrating solidarity with residents while reinforcing security operations designed to restore calm and stability.
During the visit, the police chief reaffirmed the commitment of the Nigeria Police Force to tackle criminal elements threatening peace in the area.
He assured residents that coordinated security measures were being strengthened to ensure the safety of lives and property.
The operational visit was carried out in collaboration with the Governor of Kwara State, AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, reflecting the continued partnership between the police and the state government to rebuild public confidence and return normalcy to Kaiama and neighbouring communities.
