Arinze’s Eziowelle Crowns Another Global Cleric

Faith met heritage in Eziowelle, Idemili North LGA of Anambra State, as the community that produced Francis Cardinal Arinze welcomed another international cleric into global ministry with the enthronement of Archbishop Dr Joseph Onyekachukwu Nzekwesi.
The colourful ceremony drew clergy, dignitaries and guests from across Nigeria and the diaspora.
Following a solemn Holy Mass, Archbishop Nzekwesi was formally invested amid prayers and celebration by family and supporters, who described his journey as challenging but divinely guided.
Overwhelmed with gratitude, the new Archbishop thanked God for the elevation and sought grace to serve faithfully.
He also appreciated the prayers and support of his family and friends.
Archbishop Nzekwesi is the General Overseer of Jesus Is Alive Church, headquartered in Eziowelle, noted for its healing, salvation, empowerment and prophetic ministry.
Widely praised for humanitarian work, he is also CEO of Pineleaf Estate and Property Limited.
The enthronement was conducted by Archbishop Brinsley Dickson of the United Baptist Faith Archdiocese and St Ann Spiritual Baptist Church International, alongside Archbishop Dr Kene Don Ifepe of Believers Full Gospel Church, Toronto, with other eminent bishops.
