Okeke Hails Soludo’s Bold Infrastructure Drive, Says Anambra Is Taking A World-Class Turn
By Sunny A. David, Awka
Infrastructure often tells the true story of leadership, and in Anambra State, that story is increasingly one of ambition and transformation.
Former Deputy Governor of the State, Dr Nkem Okeke, has commended Governor Chukwuma Soludo for what he described as a bold, strategic and future-driven approach to infrastructural development.
Dr Okeke gave the commendation during an inspection tour of key high-impact projects in Awka, led by the Chief Protocol and Deputy Chief of Staff, Mr Chinedu Nwoye.
The projects inspected included the Country Club, Solution FunCity and the Light House, Awka.
Describing the projects as visible proof of visionary leadership, the former deputy governor said the developments reflect a deliberate shift towards world-class social infrastructure designed to improve the quality of life.
According to him, facilities such as Solution FunCity and the Country Club are more than leisure centres, noting that they serve as platforms for social interaction, economic growth and youth engagement by providing modern amenities and constructive outlets for young people.
The tour ended at the Light House, where Dr Okeke observed what he called the seamless spread of infrastructure across both urban and rural parts of the state.
He applauded the Soludo administration’s consistency with its Prosperous Homeland agenda, citing sustained investments in roads, public utilities and recreational facilities as critical foundations for building a modern, progressive and economically vibrant Anambra State.
