Katsina Diocese Celebrates New School Of Faith Graduates, Underscores Need For Deeper Christian Witness

At a time when many faithful seek a stronger grounding in their spiritual journey, the Catholic Diocese of Katsina has celebrated a new batch of School of Faith graduates, marking not just an academic milestone but a renewed call to Christian witness.

During a solemn ceremony at St. Martin’s de Porres Cathedral, the Bishop of Katsina Diocese led the celebration, praising the graduates for their dedication and desire to deepen their understanding of Catholic doctrine.

He described the School of Faith as more than a centre of learning, noting that it has become a hub for spiritual formation, apostolic growth, and a deeper encounter with Christ.

The Bishop urged the newly-certified members to reflect their learning through active service in their parishes, homes, and wider communities, stressing that faith is best expressed through love, compassion, and commitment to the Church’s mission.

Highlighting improved accessibility, he announced that the programme has now expanded to include online classes, allowing more parishioners to participate regardless of distance or busy schedules.

The ceremony ended with prayers of thanksgiving as the Diocese applauded the graduates, recognising them as ambassadors of the Catholic faith and vital witnesses to Christ in today’s world.
