NAF Precision Strike Deals Major Blow To Terrorists In Sambisa

In a renewed demonstration of Nigeria’s strengthening counterterrorism capability, the Nigerian Air Force (NAF) has executed a highly precise and strategic air operation that significantly weakened terrorist activities within the Sambisa general area.

The successful Air Interdiction mission, carried out on 19 November 2025, targeted ARRA, a notorious terrorist enclave identified through sustained intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance (ISR) efforts.

The operation followed heightened monitoring after the 17 October ambush on troops at KASHOMRI, which prompted continuous ISR coverage across KASHOMRI and Sambisa.

According to the NAF, intelligence revealed unusual movements and active terrorist structures at ARRA, setting the stage for a deliberate, intelligence-driven strike.

Air assets were deployed for coordinated, successive attacks that successfully neutralised all designated targets.

The operation resulted in the complete destruction of the identified hideout, effectively disrupting the terrorists’ command and logistics networks.

This marks another major step in degrading the operational capabilities of insurgent groups in the region.

The NAF described the outcome as a testament to its unwavering commitment to safeguarding the nation, supporting ground troops, and maintaining pressure on terrorist elements across all theatres.

Air Commodore Ehimen Ejodame, Director of Public Relations and Information, reaffirmed that the Nigerian Air Force remains resolute in its mission to defend the country’s territorial integrity and secure lasting peace for all citizens.
